How to Identify Your Atlas Copco Controller
Four ways to pin down exactly which controller you have — so you order the right replacement the first time.
1. Read the part number off the label
Every genuine Atlas Copco controller carries a part-number label — usually on the back or side of the panel. The number is typically 10 digits shown in groups, for example 1900 0705 27, and is sometimes written with a "P" prefix (P1900070527). The same number usually appears on the machine's parts list. Enter it in the search box at the top of any page to jump straight to that part.
2. Identify by display type
Even without the label, the screen tells you the generation — see the generations guide for detail:
- Small segment / monochrome LCD + LEDs → legacy Elektronikon I / II or Mk4.
- Graphic (non-touch) screen with buttons → Mk5 Graphic / Graphic Plus.
- Colour touchscreen → Mk5 Touch or Mk5S Touch.
- Rugged colour screen on a portable diesel machine → Xc-family (Xc1002/2002/2003/3003/4004).
3. Match by compressor model & serial
Atlas Copco fitment is tied to the machine build, so the compressor model and serial number are the most reliable identifier — especially if the controller label is damaged. The serial lets us find the correct controller and any superseded / replacement part number. See the compatibility chart.
4. Send it to us and we confirm
